Mouse Models of Aging

Mouse Models of Aging

Mouse models of aging are widely used due to genetic similarity to humans and experimental flexibility. They enable targeted genetic manipulation and longitudinal aging studies. Mouse models replicate many features of human aging, including metabolic decline, immune aging, and neurodegeneration. These models support evaluation of aging interventions, biomarkers, and disease progression. Mouse models of aging are central to preclinical testing of longevity strategies. Their use bridges basic biology and clinical translation.
