Biography:
Utpol Das, MPH, is a Research Coordinator in the Division of Palliative Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Galveston, where he works under Dr. Sean O'Mahony. He holds a STEM-designated Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from UTMB's School of Public and Population Health. His research focuses on aging, palliative care, and health equity, with expertise in secondary data analysis, latent class analysis, and pharmacoepidemiology. He is a recipient of the SPPH Excellence in Research and Scholarship Award and plans to pursue doctoral training beginning in 2027.
