This Public Health, Epidemiology and Population Aging session addresses aging at population level, focusing on demographic transitions, disease burden, and health system implications. Topics include longitudinal cohort studies, life-course approaches, risk factor trajectories, and modeling of healthy versus disabled life expectancy. Presentations will highlight surveillance of geriatric syndromes, multimorbidity, and functional limitations, as well as evaluation of public health interventions targeting older adults. The track will examine health system readiness, workforce needs, and policy responses to rapid population aging in different regions. Contributions that connect epidemiologic evidence to prevention strategies, service planning, and global aging metrics are particularly encouraged.
