Aging networks describe interconnected molecular, cellular, and systemic pathways that collectively drive aging processes. Rather than single linear mechanisms, aging emerges from complex network interactions involving metabolism, inflammation, stress response, and repair systems. Aging networks integrate signals across tissues and organs, influencing resilience and functional decline. Disruption in one node can propagate dysfunction throughout the network. Understanding aging networks emphasizes systems-level approaches to aging intervention, highlighting need for coordinated, multi-target strategies to preserve healthspan and delay aging-related decline.
