Biography:
Rooji Lee, M.D., is a physician at the Department of Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine, Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital, Hwasun, Republic of Korea. Her research focuses on geriatric rehabilitation, functional outcomes in older adults, and the health characteristics of the oldest-old population. This study on regional differences among Korean centenarians reflects her commitment to understanding how residential environments influence healthy aging, with the goal of informing equitable and context-sensitive policy and care for the rapidly growing centenarian population in Korea.
