Biography:
Postdoctoral researcher in Psychoanalytic Theory at the Institute of Psychology at UFRJ; Postdoctoral fellow in Medical Psychology and Social Psychology at UERJ. Professor in Postgraduate Master's and Doctorate in Psychoanalysis, health, and society at UVA. Coordinator of the Beauty Diseases Nucleus at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Social Research and Intervention (Lipis/ PUC-Rio) and of the Integrated Social Research Laboratory (Lapsi/UVA). Corresponding researcher at the Centre de Recherches Psychanalyse et Médecine — Université Denis-Diderot Paris 7 CRPM-Pandora. Member of the Advisory Board of the Dove Foundation for Self-Esteem – UNILEVER/London. Author and editor of numerous books and anthologists.
